As you probably noticed on your own by now, I’ve decided that it was time to give MDJ a small facelift. When I started out back in 2006, I never imagined that I’d be doing this for more than 15 years or that the site will become such a popular resource for people looking to improve their financial understanding.
While the old design certainly had tremendous sentimental value to me (and to many of you as well I’m sure!), I felt that it was the right moment to provide a bit more of a modern feel and to showcase all the work that we’ve done over the years.
I want to assure you though, that this change won’t affect the actual content being published in any way! The site might look a bit different, but the articles that you have enjoyed so much over the years will still be published on a consistent basis. And – now with the redesign out of the way -I’ll again have much more time to write and publish, so you can expect a better flow of new articles in the future.
Over the years, my main priority has always been the readers. This site allows me to share my journey with you and hopefully help you on your own. Now, with not only a new design, but in bringing in multiple authors from around the Canada financial world, I think we have a better product than ever before.
But what I think isn’t really the big deal here.
What do you think?! If I didn’t get to interact with readers every day, I would’ve quite writing a long time ago.
Is everything on the site working to your satisfaction? I did a pretty thorough bug check before “going live” but there are likely a few small things still needing to be refined.
Do you like the new design? Is there anything else you want to see changed or added? Is there any specific piece of content you’ve been missing and I should focus on the next few weeks?
Let me know in the comments below!
P.S. – Thanks for sharing my Million Dollar Journey with me over the last 15 years – and let’s hope the next 15 sees as much growth and evolution for all of us as the first 15!
